  Fishing is an increasingly popular sport on Bequia, with marlin, kingfish, tuna, and barracuda amongst the most readily available - often just with a line and lure. WATERSPORTS

  With the Trade Winds providing almost year-round breezes, and brisk winds in the winter, Bequia offers great conditions for windsurfers. In the calm beach shallows on the leeward side, kayaking is also a popular pastime. 

  Windsurfers and kayaks are available for rent from several outlets, and lessons can also be arranged. Ask at your hotel or guest house.
