Bequia offers the visitor many treats when it comes to shopping - just checking out all the intriguing and delightful shops and stores in Port Elizabeth is a pleasure in itself.     No big supermarkets or vast shopping malls (although Bequia does boast the Bayshore Mall, which houses several small boutiques, a travel agent and a bank), but instead a range of small boutiques, gift shops, grocery stores and delicatessen, a lively vegetable market and small local produce stalls which will provide all the ingredients you need to complete your holiday.  If you don't see what you want - just ask! Many businesses can also be reached  on VHF CH 68 or CH 16

GROCERIES & DELICATESSEN   If you are staying on a yacht, most stores will be happy to take your order or enquiry over VHF and arrange delivery to a suitable dock.   If you are staying in a villa or apartment, you will be delighted at the range of fresh produce, bread, meats and delicacies available on the island. A "welcome pack" to await your arrival can usually be arranged - just enquire when you make your booking.
